David's interest in helping those who have lost a loved one or have been injured began when he was 16 years old. His sister, who was 19 at the time, was killed in a motor vehicle accident at the hands of a negligent driver. During the grieving process, David watched as a large insurance company tried to persuade his parents to sign away their rights to pursue a claim, in exchange for a nominal settlement amount. This experience stayed with David throughout his education and motivates him today to take on large companies in representing those who have lost a loved one or have been injured.
David earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University. He earned his Juris Doctor Degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. As a law student David earned several distinguished awards including the American Juris Prudence Award for receiving the highest score of his class.
While a third year law student, David clerked for Mainor Harris Trial Lawyers. Understanding the value of practicing as a defense attorney, and after completing law school, David accepted a job with, Beckley Singleton, a large insurance defense firm in Las Vegas. During his two years as a defense attorney, David learned first hand how big insurance companies protect their profits and investments by taking advantage of accident victims. David uses his professional experience and personal passion to help those who may otherwise be taken advantage of.
When he's not fighting for his clients, David enjoys spending time with his family. As a former member of the U.S. Cycling Team, and teammate to Lance Armstrong, David enjoys riding his bicycle. His cycling successes include winning the gold medal at the Junior Olympic Festival in Mexico City, Mexico, as well as many other competitions in North America and Europe. David enjoys playing the guitar, reading, and spending time in church and community service capacities. He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, Nevada Justice Association, Clark County State Bar Association, and the American Justice Association.

Brent joined the firm in 2007 after graduating from the J. Ruben Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. In 2004, Brent graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Brigham Young University. While in law school, Brent worked as a mediator and arbitrator for the University's dispute resolution center where landlord-tenant disputes were resolved. He also competed in a regional mock trial competition for the American Trial Lawyers Association and a national moot court competition for the Hispanic National Bar Association.
Brent's motivation to practice personal injury law stems in part from an experience his father had early on in his career with the Fresno Police Department. As a young officer, Brent's father was struck and nearly killed by a drunk driver. The drunk driver had no auto insurance forcing Brent's father to deal with permanent back injuries and eventually to retire early from the Police Department.
