John Tingey

John was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in Languages and Literature. He then went on to the University of New Mexico where he got a Masters in Latin American Political Economy as well as an MBA (it makes me tired just listing all that education!).

What is the greatest meal you’ve ever had? The Fish tacos at Lone Star Taqueria in Salt Lake. Seriously better than anything you’ll eat south or north of the border.

What is the coolest vacation you’ve ever been on? The week I took off when my son was born.

John was once told that by living in Las Vegas, he would get credit for time served if he ever ended up in purgatory. The fact that he’s still here is quite telling! John is an avid cyclist, but is not afraid to admit that he is often beaten to the top of the hill by his wife, a nationally ranked professional mountain biker. John is currently working to promote the firm’s philanthropic endeavors by building and running the charity Every Kid a Bike. Every Kid a Bike aims to provide bicycles to underprivileged children, helping them experience the joy, freedom and confidence that riding a bike can bring.
