David Francis
David’s interest in helping those who have lost a beloved one or were injured began when he was 16. His sister, who was 19 at the time, died in a traffic accident at the hands of a negligent driver. During the process of mourning, David saw how a large insurance company tried to persuade his parents to give up their right to sue in exchange for a nominal amount of money. This experience remained with David throughout his education and keeps motivating him to this day to face the big companies , representing those who have lost a loved one or have been injured.
David earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brigham Young University. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Law School of California Western in San Diego, California. As a law student David won several distinguished awards, including the American Jurisprudence Award for receiving the highest score in his class.
While attending the third year in law, David worked for Mainor Harris, Trial Lawyers. After understanding the value of practice as a defense attorney, and after completing law school, David accepted a job with Beckley Singleton, one of the largest Las Vegas law corporations. During his two years as a defense attorney, David learned first hand how big insurance companies protect their profits and investments, taking advantage of accident victims. David uses his professional experience and personal passion to help those who others want to take advantage of, and want to exploit.
When he is not fighting for his clients, David likes to spend time with his family. As a former member of the U.S. Cycling Team and being a former teammate of Lance Armstrong, David enjoys riding his bike. Among his several achievements include winning the cycling gold medal in the Olympic Youth Festival in Mexico City, Mexico, and many other competitions in North America and Europe. David enjoys playing the guitar, reading, and spending time in the service of the church and community. David is a member of the State Bar of Nevada , Nevada Justice Association, Clark county Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.
